LizzoLizzo joined a rock group called prog, in which she sang and sometimes played her flute. Her family relocated to Denver and Lizzo was alone to begin her career in Houston. Lizzo was a car owner and would sometimes sleep on the floor of her studio. Lizzo also used her gym to shower in the gymnasium. When Lizzo was just 20, her father passed away. The two had been very close and it was a devastating loss. Following the death of her father, she left the prog rock band. After a brief stop in Denver in the year 2010, Lizzo moved to Minneapolis on the advice of a friend in 2011. In the next few months, she was part of the Minneapolis music scene. She was a member of the girl group Chalice, GRRRL PRTY. The album she released her debut album, Lizzobangers was released in 2013 on an independent label.
