Jill Hennessy

This resident of Edmonton, Alberta has a multi-generational ancestry that includes Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. The twin of Jacqueline is an actress and actress as well. Jill was able to learn a variety of languages, such as Italian, French, Spanish while growing as a child. Jill began to become interested in acting at the age of twelve. She started her acting career in Toronto with David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers playing an escort alongside the twins of her. Then she studied improv comedy at Second City with Deb Kimmet. After relocating in New York, Claire signed a two-year deal for Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. In the time she spent in New York and worked on several movies with a feature-length story, including RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1996) and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). She was a part of a handful of dull films throughout the next years, before landing an acting role in 1999's miniseries uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York, Exit Wounds and other major series were set to be released. She landed a lead role in the NBC crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007 for her work to the show, she received a Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Actor in a Drama Series". In 2000, she got married to another actor Paolo Mastropietro.
